Seminar: ‘Father Figures in Children's Literature Past and Present’ - On the Bicentenary of Carlo Collodi's Birth

2026 marks the bicentenary of the birth of Carlo Collodi, who created one of the most famous characters in world literature: Pinocchio. Starting from The Adventures of Pinocchio, the meeting offers a reflection on the transformations of the father figure in children's literature, from Geppetto to contemporary stories.
